Create a project in BPC-Screenplay and start a new scene, then write your dialogue, just as you would in a traditional movie script. BPC-Screenplay creates audio files of the dialogue and places them on a timeline. Then you can add images, music and effects and use the Media Player to watch scene by scene, or as a complete project. When you're satisfied, print the script, or use BPC-Screenplay to show the work to your colleagues, clients and producers.

BPC-SCREENPLAY is a completely new approach to scriptwriting and the creative challenge of getting from an idea to a movie. At the Berlin Picture Company, we wanted a software tool that would show exactly how our concepts are building up to become a movie, while we are at work on the script. This means hearing the dialogue as audio and being able to watch the images, sketches and photographs of the visuals we envisage, as well as building a traditional script and keeping notes on characters, locations and the action in each scene.

Whether you work professionally on cinema films, tv programmes and commercials, or industrial and business productions, BPC-Screenplay provides a platform to demonstrate exactly what you have in mind, not only in relation to locations, but also the pacing and timing of the project as it develops.

The Debut Edition has been designed for screen-writers using a small laptop with Windows XP. The next edition, BPC-Screenplay Pro will be a larger programme, with a range of advanced features configured for specialist production requirements. Registered 'Early Adopters' will be offered an Euro50 discount when they purchase the Pro Edition, which we plan to release in 2008.

BPC-Screenplay Debut Edition can be downloaded for an 'early adopter' price of only £20.00

Further and Higher Education.

BPC-Screenplay enables tutors working with students in Universities and Film Schools to evaluate their scripts and project proposals before sanctioning production. By creating a script and animatic in BPC-Screenplay, students can maintain a record of their work and the development of their skills as scriptwriters for projects before they go forward to production. By using the 'reader's report' page, tutors can provide a critique of their student's efforts.

Secondary Education.

School students working with BPC-Screenplay gain an insight into the organisation of sound and images, an introduction to film language, which is extremely difficult to attain with traditional scripts and project proposals. Trying out the programme with 13 years olds, they found the programme straightforward to use and fun.

Low cost School Licencing agreements can be arranged: contact us by email: sales@academia.co.uk

Primary Education

The BPC-Screenplay licence gives users freedom to use the programme with children under 10 years of age without acquiring additional licences.

While children are immersed in television from infancy, the difference between watching programmes and making programmes is much greater than that between reading and writing.

With very young children able to use a mouse, it should be practical to use BPC-Screenplay with children as soon as they have learned to write.
