Academia are holding a train the teacher day at Aberdeen University on Friday 23rd September 2011.
The training day aims to demonstrate with true
examples how teachers can integrate Autodesk
products to the classroom.

10:10 am - A demonstration of Autodesk Inventor 2012 –
Emma Godfrey (Autodesk)
11:30 am - Coffee/Tea Break
11:45 am - 12:30 am - Integrating Autodesk Inventor to the classroom (John Slater, Head of Design & Technology, Forres Academy )– A real life example of how Autodesk inventor is used in the classroom.
12:30 pm- 1:30 pm- Lunch
1:30 pm - 2:30 pm- Integrating Autodesk Revit to the classroom - Eddie Mack (Lecturer at the University of Glasgow) - Eddie will demonstrate and explain how he teaches Autodesk Revit.
2:30 pm - 3:00 pm Introduction to 3DMadeEasy Ltd.
Eddie Mack will introduce to you a website and some tools to support the learning and the
teaching of 3D Modeling.
The website is structured as six stand alone sections, each taking the absolute beginner through the basic start up procedures towards independent modeling. The content has been carefully put together after many years teaching experience and is delivered through video tutorials which allow the user to progress at a pace appropriate to them.
