How to get your free of charge upgrade to Adobe CS5
If you have purchased an Adobe CS4 product between 12 April 2010 and July 11th 2010 then you need to make your claim for a FREE upgrade to Adobe CS5 by 26 July 2010
To request a post-announce upgrade, then do the following steps:
1. Go to the Customer Support Portal www.adobe.com/go/uk_supportportal
2. Create an account or sign into your existing account.
3. Under Get Support, click the Orders & Downloads tab.
4. In the Choose Issue Type menu, choose Post-Announce Upgrades.
5. Click Continue.
6. In the Submit A Post-Announce Upgrade Request page, follow the onscreen instructions.
7. Click Review Case & Submit.
Please note the following details:
• You can expect a response within one business day.
• If Adobe does not receive your proof of purchase within 48 hours, then your case will be closed and the process will have to start over.
• If you qualify for a post-announce upgrade, then your order will be shipped standard ground and should arrive in eight to ten business days.
• Your upgrade must be for the same platform, language, and edition as your previous version.
• You must provide Adobe Customer Service with proof of purchase. Adobe accepts as proof of purchase either an Adobe direct order number, or a sales receipt or shipping invoice from a reseller. Please take a scan of your invoice that was on the outside of the packaging you received.
The invoice will state
• Reseller name and address
• Product and version purchased
• Purchase date
• Purchase price
